As far as picture-perfect parties go, Luke’s First Birthday and Baptism is high on our list. In July 2018, we were lucky enough to host a special event for a special little boy at Fenix Events. Nestled amongst enchanting native greenery, Fenix Events provided the perfect backdrop for the luxe jungle themed affair. Styled and coordinated by Luxe Couture Events Melbourne, the gorgeous set up included a foliage flower wall by Lily Pad Weddings and the cutest jungle animals (Lulu and Zola) from Willow Tree Events.
Gold bubble balloons from Boutique Balloons Melbourne added an elegant pop of colour, and were a clever choice to aesthetically tie the two significant occasions together.
Our guests were greeted by a selection of canapes on arrival to kick off the celebrations before enjoying a seated lunch. The menu included Apple Wood Warm Smoked Ocean Trout, Pan Fried Gnocchi with House Smoked Chicken, Two-Point Lamb Rack and Slow Roasted Duck Leg. Dishes were also accompanied by a selection of fresh salads and sides.
Lunch was followed by a selection of (nearly) too good to eat desserts. The cake and marble and jungle print stamped cookies, were crafted by Flos Cakes and Cookies.
